SPEAKER_00:

Hi, this is Bidi Montess, Steve Pellet here and I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Sunday, seventh day of the month of December of 2025. Remembrance of Pearl Harbor Day, some 84 years ago on this date. Well, weather wise across the Northeast, we started off yesterday with a little bit of coating of snow on the ground in many places. Wasn't a lot of snow, just a little dusting here and there. And uh melt pretty quickly as temperatures went into the 40s. Today we're looking at partial sunshine and temperatures ranging in the upper 30s, north and west to about 40 to 45 elsewhere. We do have a strong cold front moving through tonight. That's going to fire up some snow showers and squalls east of Lake Erie, Ontario, and also the eastern portion of Lake Huron and Lake Michigan and Superior as well. As a large area high pressure down from Canada will bring us a fast shot of some cold air that'll last from Monday through Tuesday, then warming up Wednesday with the possibility of low pressure out of the plain states that could give us some mixed precipitation around midweek. A little bit later on, though, even Thursday of this week is looking pretty good, but chance of some rain and snow on Thursday night and Friday, as areas of low pressure will be tracking from the west to the east across the region rather quickly. Major outbreak of some cold air is in the cards, possibly after next weekend. But we'll have more to say that as this upcoming work week continues. So if you are traveling by air today, the general picture across the nation shows that frontal system working its way through Ohio, Indiana, and southern Illinois. It's causing rain in southern portions of Missouri, southern Illinois, western Kentucky, and still lots of rain along the Gulf Coast from Houston right through Louisiana and the northern panhandle of Florida into southern Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Atlanta, the weather is there, it's looking pretty good. Looking good also, no problems weatherwise in Charlotte. New York, Newark, LaGuardia, JFK, all the went up to Boston, down to Philly and Baltimore, no problems weatherwise today. Chicago could have a few snowy showers, but nothing much, just very cold. Clear skies up in Minneapolis, no problems into that. Airline hub. And looking at fair weather in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco clouding up. Looks like maybe some rain. Looks like rainy weather for Portland and Seattle today and tonight. I've been your Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Monday. See you then.
