Hi, this is Bidi Roger Steve Pelletier, and I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpunk.com on your Saturday. It is the seventh day of the month of February. A quarter of the way through 714, 21, 28 days, as on Saturday, the 28th of February. And our temperatures are very low, well below normal at this point. Probably going to stay below normal for the whole month. We may have a little bit of warming around the middle portion of the month, but uh December, January, and February are all going to come in the books as below normal. It's a tremendous turnaround in the winter conditions that we've had as compared to the last several years. And uh looks like uh our winds will be very strong today. 15 to 25, gusting to 45. That's gonna cause quite a bit of havoc for uh a lot of the pokes trying to fly in and out of the northeast because of this Arctic front. But we'll have more on the uh traveling weather over the next uh couple of minutes here. In the meantime, just for today, it's uh excessive uh winds out of the northwest, some gusts up to 40 to 45 miles per hour, and bitter cold temperatures, highs ranging 15 to 20 wind chills, making it feel like minus 15. So you really have to bundle up. You're gonna go in out. And uh at uh night we're looking at clear skies down to about zero on average. Some places minus five, some places plus five, probably closer to the city and along the coast. It'll be near plus five. And that will be right around sunrise on Sunday. Sunday, high temperatures near 20. Monday, high of 26, Tuesday, high back into the mid-30s, a little bit closer to normal. Expected for Tuesday, but uh dry weather. Towards the end of this week, we're seeing signs of a possibility of a coastal storm that could bring us some snow and rain. We'll be talking about that as the week continues as well. Now, if you're traveling by air today, or at least attempting out of the northeast, the strong Arctic front is now off the coast of New England, and there's still some snow showers and squalls working their way out of the eastern shores of Lake Erie and Ontario, and also looking at some snow showers and squalls all across much of New England. So up in the Boston area, excessive delays, if not cancellations into there during the daytime today. It just looks terrible up in the Boston area today because of snow wind and also Arctic temperatures. Uh, very cold in the New York LaGuardia and JFK area, and those strong winds at 50 miles per hour. That's really gonna cause quite a bit of havoc. Expect delays and cancellations in the New York area airports today. Also looking at fair conditions out in Chicago, still very cold, but at least the winds are light. Also looking at uh colder weather down into central and north Florida, South Florida, the front, probably will go south for a little while, cool things down there, but the weather is going to be dry. Dry in Houston and Dallas, uh, dry in Minneapolis, St. Paul, looking at dry conditions from San Diego, LA, San Francisco. Rain is now moving in to the Pacific Northwest. Overcast and wet weather for Portland and Seattle today. I'm Eddie Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Keep warm and talk to your first thing on Sunday. See you then.
