Hi, this has been your brother Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Sunday. It's the eighth day, the month of February 2026. All the cold weather has descended across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. And it looks like it's the worst of winter. As a matter of fact, our temperatures for the most part down near zero for nighttime lows and daytime highs only ranging in the teens to near 20 degrees expected for the daytime on Sunday. But the time we get to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, a little bit of a moderation starting to take hold. The worst of winter just about moving off the eastern seaboard, and it looks like high pressure start to build in. It looks like a dry trend, probably over the next several days. While storms will probably stay to our south. High pressure, mainly the feature across the region in the north and east. And that means it's going to be sunny skies today. For your Sundays, temperatures range generally in the upper teens, the lower twenties for daytime highs. For the nighttime, it's going to be clear once again, down near zero, but with light winds. Daytime on Monday, temperatures start to warm up just a bit, ranging up closer to 30 degrees, but into the 30s on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, and even into the 40s, probably by later Wednesday and Thursday in many locations across the Northeast. The dry weather is expected over the next several days. Average temperatures continue to be well below normal as we head in towards the first third of this month of February. If you're traveling today, high pressure, the main feature across the Northeast, that means good weather in New York, LaGuardia, JFK, and up into the Boston area. Down D.C. and Baltimore, also no problem, but there will be some snow showers across the Shenandoah. Further south, Charlotte, it looks like generally fair skies, fair but cold in Atlanta. Central and South Florida also dry. Dry weather in Houston looks like some showers in Dallas-Fort Worth. Fair skies in Chicago and Minneapolis and West Coast showing dry conditions in San Diego and LA. However, it looks like some showers moving to San Francisco, mainly to the north, and also across Portland and Seattle. Rainy weather expected for the next twenty four to thirty six hours. I've been your Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Monday. See you then.
