Hi, this is BD Roger Steve Pellethiery and I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Monday. It's the ninth day, the month of February 2026, and after a brutal weekend on the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, weather wise, the cold weather was just relentless. Strong, gusty north by northwest winds, and temperatures generally in the teens and single digits around the area. The wind chills making it feel like between minus five and minus twenty throughout much of this past weekend. Well, looks like we're in for some generally fair conditions for most of this week and a little bit milder too. Now we do see another outbreak of some cold air, but not as cold as it has this weekend. It's probably going to be maybe just half as cold. That's a good way of putting it. That's going to be on Thursday and Friday, and then a little bit of a warming trend as we head into this weekend. And temperatures by this upcoming weekend will be ranging into the 30s, the lower 40s, which is close to normal for this time of year. In the meantime, look for sunshine today, and our temperatures ranging in the low to middle 30s, but uh some temperatures north and west. Now they'll only be in the upper 20s during the daytime today. But at least the winds will be lighter, northwest at around five miles per hour. Mostly cloudy at night, nighttime lows down into the middle teens. And Tuesday's weather is going mostly cloudy. A little warm front poking through could cause a few snow showers in the afternoon or evening, but nothing much. Temperatures will range into the mid-30s. At night, it'll become partly cloudy. Overnight, low temperatures holding in the middle twenties. Well, this past weekend we couldn't even get near 20 degrees. So that's going to be welcome to just nighttime lows in the 20s. Wednesday is looking partly sunny, near 40. Thursday, a little bit cooler, as I mentioned. It's going to be cooler, not high near 30 degrees. Friday also 30 to 35. Then warming up in the 30th to near 40s, upcoming Saturday and Sunday. There's a chance of some uh rain showers, actually. S. Tapitures will range into the lower 40s. That'll be on Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening, but a very slight chance. Looks generally dry for much of this week and gradually milder. Now, if you're traveling by air today, fair weather across the northeast. We're not expecting those strong winds again for your Monday. So any delays and cancellations that we had over the weekend because of the Arctic cold weather. Well, we'll probably try to make back that today because we are going to have high pressure and fair weather. Norwell, New York, LaGuardia's JFK, and even up into the Boston area. Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C. all looking pretty good weatherwise. So no problems there. Good weather flying into Charlotte and into Atlanta, of course. Central and South Florida are going to be dry, but the big area of high pressure over the Eastern Gulf. Looks like fair weather in Houston and Dallas. Also fair and tight, a little bit milder up in Chicago, and the possibility of even a little bit of rain in Minneapolis, St. Paul. West Coast showing San Diego, LA, and San Francisco all dry, but looks like rain and uh that rainy weather in Portland and of course in Seattle. Congratulations to Seattle for that. I'm Eddie Major Steve Pelletier, and I have the weather band. Hope you have a great day today. And we'll talk to you first thing tomorrow. See you then.
