Hi, this is BD Roger Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpot.com on your Saturdays, the 14th day of the month of February 2026. And it looks like our weather situation for today not too bad. We're going to have generally fair conditions up along the eastern seaboard. High pressures building in across the Carolinas and the Virginia's, and the fair weather extends up into the New England states as well. There was a little bit of areas of light snow across New York State, Central, and Southern New England, and some portions of northeastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey and Connecticut. And that's uh moved on by any early going, but now looks like we're gonna have dry weather today and temperatures ranging into the 40s. A bigger concern is an area of low pressure that caused uh rainy weather across the Four Corners regions yesterday, as now working its way across the southern Mississippi River Valley. Now, this storm is going to be arriving along the eastern seaboard. Still a little bit of cold era in place up here and across the mid-Atlantic Northeast, but I mean up here in central northern New Jersey, New York City, southeastern New York, where we're located. And it looks like uh we might have a little bit of snow and rain during the overnight Sunday into Monday as that storm passes on through. A bigger concern is a series of low pressure systems that'll be moving into the west coast. They'll eventually get to the eastern seaboard, and after a week upcoming of generally seasonable conditions, normal highs should be up around 44, normal nighttime lows should be down into the upper 20s, and we'll be at or slightly below them as we head through a good balance of this week. These low pressure systems will probably form up along the eastern seaboard and could represent uh some fairly decent snowstorms or snow and rainstorms for the mid-Atlantic and northeast through the remainder of this month of February. So not out of the woods yet, even though the terrific cold of one week ago is gone. We've got a more tranquil day for this Valentine's Day Saturday with temperatures ranging into the 40s. Now, if you're traveling by air today, it looks like fair weather in the northeast. Uh, New England and uh also New York, LaGuardia JFK, dry conditions, dry in Philly, Baltimore and D.C., no problems there. Chicago's looking pretty good too, as does Minneapolis, St. Paul. And in central and southern Florida, generally dry conditions. Atlanta is okay, but it will be raining there tomorrow. And rain is expected to move in late in the day and at night in Charlotte, but daytime today, it looks pretty good for making connections. The bad weather today is in Houston, Dallas Fort Worth. Expect delays getting into there because of rainy weather and some pretty stormy conditions expected. Once the storm moves off to the east, the flow will be out of the northwest and things should start to dry up. Also dry in Los Angeles, San Diego, and in San Francisco, but rainy weather now moving into the Pacific Northwest. Looks like rain for Portland and Seattle, especially later on today. I've been your honor, Steve Pelletier. I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Happy Valentine's Day. Talk to you first thing on Sunday. See you then.
