Hi, this is BD Roger Steve Pelletier, and I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the weathermanpawn.com on your Saturday. It's the last day of February. Boy, this month was tough weather-wise, wasn't it? And uh it looks as though uh we're gonna have a pretty good day today. Uh skies are going to be generally fair.
Uh we do have uh a little change coming about the next 24 hours as we enter into March, but today uh it's going to be mostly sunny, and our highs are range generally in the upper 40s, low to mid-50s around the area. It will be mostly cloudy tonight, though, and the frontal system arriving early on Sunday. It'll give us some snow showers in the morning, maybe mixed with some rain before it ends, but basically temperatures will hover around 30 degrees during the morning hours and rising up to about 34. So accumulations are going to be little or no accumulation except for and the higher elevations up in the Poconos, the Catskills in northwestern New Jersey and southeastern New England.
But as we head towards Sunday night, skies will clear. Normal high should be around 45. And then on Monday, it looks like mostly cloudy skies and temperatures for the day only near 32. And it looks like the possibility of some snow on Monday night or early Tuesday, some snow and rain, and our high temperatures of around 41.
Then we get into a warmer flow up near 50 with a chance of rain on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week. Each day highs near 50 each night, generally holding in the upper 30s and lower 40s, well above freezing. So after that, looks like we're going to be in a dry flow for a little while, but we are looking at uh temperatures averaging above normal, as mentioned, probably right up until the 13th or 14th of the month of March. We can see that far ahead, and it looks like big high pressure anchoring over the southeast states. Doesn't mean we're going to have generally good weather across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. However, it does mean it will be on the warmer side.
Now, if you're traveling by air today on this Saturday, pretty good conditions across the Northeast, no problems weather wise. Philly, New York, LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, also up in the Boston area. Baltimore and D.C., Dulles, all looking pretty good. That's does Charlotte and Atlanta. Looks like some rainy weather, however, from Tampa, St. Pete across through Orlando and into Daytona Beach. And looks like that could cause a little bit of delays there. Some scattered showers and thunderstorms in central and southern Florida, mainly for the latter portion of the day and at night, but I don't think any major problems there. Chicago's going to have some snow and also some snow in Minneapolis, St. Paul, so some delays getting into there today. Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, dry, and on the warm side. LA, San Diego, San Francisco, basically okay. SFO will have some rain tonight, and also Portland will have some rainy weather during the daytime and tonight and tomorrow. Seattle,
