Hi, this is Biddy Roger Steve Pelleterian. I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Monday. It is the 16th day of the month of March 2026, and we've got rainy weather across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Maybe even some thunderstorms this from the eastern portion of that big storm, blizzard conditions that moved up through the Dakotas and into Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the central and northern Great Lakes. But now for here, it looks like rain, possibly some thunderstorms, maybe some downpours with those. Temperatures will be very mild on the east side of that low pressure system. Winds come out of the south, keeps things warm. Temperatures into the mid-60s. At night, showers and some thunderstorms likely, probably during the late evening, overnight hours, and and we get into the possibility of some snow showers towards daybreak, but nothing much. Overnight lows 30 to 35. Could be some significant snow showers and squalls across the finger lakes, northern and western Pennsylvania, and also in the upstate sections of New York as well. Now for the daytime on Tuesday, look for mostly sunny skies, highs of only 40 to 45, which is pretty close to normal, just a little bit below normal for this time of year. It'll be that way right up through Thursday. Well, Wednesday, sunshine 40, Thursday partly sunny, high near 50. If you're flying today, aviation weather. Expect significant delays in the New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C. area because of expected thunderstorms and the area of low pressure that will give some moderate to heavy downpours. So again, in situations like that, everything's by the book. You get between one and as much as three hours behind normal as far as uh departures and arrivals in those areas. Uh it looks like also off the Boston area will be IFR, but there's just some slighter delays there. Uh down further towards the Charlotte area. Mostly the heavy rain is moving through during the afternoon. They did have some heavy weather in the morning hours, so that will cause delays there, but they should significantly improve during the afternoon as high pressure starts to build in. Atlanta also had some showers, and that's not going to be major areas of rainfall, so no problems in and out of there. Showers and thunderstorms continue over central and south Florida as it has over the last several days. Snow in Chicago, and that's going to cause either cancellations and delays. Same thing for Madison, Wisconsin, and sections of the UP of Michigan. However, as you head further to the west and southwest, Houston and Dallas dry and relatively warmer. And on the west coast, it's dry San Diego, LA, and San Francisco. It's raining in Portland and Seattle. I've been your Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on Tuesday. See you then.
