Greeting And Birthday Shoutout
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Bidi Roger Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPont.com on your Tuesday, last day of the month of March 2026, the 31st day. And a big happy birthday to my wife, Sweet Sue. It's her special day. A good one. Weather situation for today, really not too bad. We're going to be mostly sunny, but there is a possibility of an early shower, and then later in the day, the possibility of some thunderstorms moving through late day and evening. In the meantime, mostly sunny. And we end the month off with temperatures in the 70s to near 80 degrees on southwest winds. So the chance of a shower tonight, then partly cloudy overnight lows and low to middle 60s. Very mild. That's well above the normal daytime high for this time of year. Then for Wednesday, look for the possibility of some showers and maybe even a thunderstorm. It's going to be a mild day, 70 to 75. More showers than thunderstorms are likely on Wednesday night, with nighttime low temperatures down into the upper 40s. By Thursday, unsettled weather continues. A little bit cooler. It'll be a chance of showers early in the day, and then mostly cloudy highs near 60, mostly cloudy back up to 75 on Friday, as the frontal system almost stationary across the region means the possibility of some showers will be with us Saturday and Sunday of this upcoming first weekend of April. In the meantime, for today, though, after the possibility of an early shower, we get into mostly sunny weather, and temperatures will get up to near 80 degrees in the 70s tomorrow, both days with a chance of some showers. Now, if you're traveling by air today, look at the weather situation. Shows a stationary front that lies from the central portion of Lake Michigan across through the UP of Michigan, then into New York State and into southern New England. South of that, it's a southwesterly flow of warmer, muggy, and more humid air, and even the threat of some scattered showers and thunderstorms as you get closer to that frontal zone. And that will be eventually moving into the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Most of it, though, is going to be across New York State and central and southern New England during the daytime today, tonight, and tomorrow. But by tomorrow, the frontal system starts to edge a little bit closer to us and hangs up over the eastern seaboard, hangs up somewhere between central West Virginia, over D.C., over Philadelphia, and then into the New York area, which means an extensive period of some clouds and the possibility of some April showers as we head into Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. But for aviation interest, not bad at Norwick, LaGuardia, and JFK. Rainy weather up in Boston, slight delays there. Slight delays also in Charlotte because of some scattered showers. The showers will be widely scattered and spotty, but no problems weatherwise into Atlanta. Central and South Florida continue the shower action there. Houston, some rain, but not much. Dallas Fort Worth, just dry, hot, and on the humid side, West Coast. Looks like some rain moving into LA and also into San Francisco. Also into the Portland area by Seattle, however, it looks like a little bit of a drying for a day. Next Ruttle System poised to move into the coast during the daytime on Thursday. I'm Eddie Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on that first day of April tomorrow. See you there.
