Welcome And The Date
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is been your volunteer Steve Pellethiery, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Saturday. It is the 20th day of the month of June 2026.
Today’s Mid-Atlantic Sunshine And Breeze
SPEAKER_00My goodness, this weather has been so beautiful the last several days. And we've got two-thirds of it already through now. And I hope that you can get to enjoy some nice weather this weekend. We've got a great day coming up for today. Across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, plenty of sunshine or highs will rain generally into the low to middle 80s. West winds at 10 to 15. They'll be gusting up to 30, so it's still a bit breezy out there. At night, it's going to be partly cloudy, but there are overnight lows generally in the 50s, west to about 60 to 65 city and
Father’s Day Heat And Summer Solstice
SPEAKER_00along the coast. Well yeah, sunshine for Sunday. Sunday's high temperatures on Father's Day will raise into the mid-80s. That's the first day of summer, too. Actually arrives a little bit uh closer to 5 a.m. in the morning. That's the summer solstice.
Overnight Showers Then Monday Storm Risk
SPEAKER_00And then at night, it looks like we are going to have a chance of a shower overnight, 64. Best chance of some much needed rainfall will be on Monday. Showers and maybe even a thunderstorm. High temperatures for the day are range into 81. Still some showers possible at night, but then it

Air Travel Outlook Across Major Hubs
SPEAKER_00Now, if you're traveling by air today, looks like fair weather will continue across the mid-Atlantic and northeast Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C., and all the way up to New York City, LaGuardia, JFK and North and even up to around Connecticut and Hartford looking pretty good. Boston area may have some scattered showers. Looks like a little disturbance aloft occurring there, but that's going to cause any major delays into the Boston area. Atlanta also looking good as is Charlotte in Nashville. Chicago, dry. Dry also Minneapolis, St. Paul. That rainy weather pattern continues across the Gulf Coast, though. Scattered showers and some isolated thunderstorms. North Florida, southern portions of Mississippi, Alabama, and into Louisiana. And even at Houston and Dallas, there's going to be some scattered showers, so possibly some delays into Houston in Dallas today. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms, typical down in Central and South Florida. West Coast dry, LA, San Francisco, also dry, up to Portland and Seattle today.
