Welcome And Today’s Setup
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Benny Roger Steve Felder, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the weathermanpond.com on your Wednesday, 24th day of the month of June. My goodness, this beautiful month is flying
High Pressure And Temperatures
SPEAKER_00on by. That's a much needed rainfall across the mid-Atlantic states last couple of days, but uh today it's gonna be beautiful. Big area high pressure moving in to New York State, Pennsylvania, down to New Jersey, and even down to the Del Marpa Peninsula, the Virginia's and the Carolinas, all looking at very nice conditions for today. Highs of range into the 80s, about 80 to 85 at night. It will be clear. Now you'll sign some temperatures in the interior down into the 50s, but most places down to around 60 for nighttime lows.
Late-Week Showers And Weekend Trend
SPEAKER_00And for the daytime on Thursday, another fine day. Mid-80s, plenty of sunshine. But at night, area of rainfall working its way across northern Minnesota on the western Great Lakes. That'll be arriving in the vicinity, slow process eastward. And I might bring in some showers for Thursday night and Friday. And maybe even linger into Saturday of this upcoming weekend. Then we get into a clearing trend of some nice mild weather as we get into the last couple of days of the month of June. Sunday, Monday, and even Tuesday of next week. In the meantime, for today, plenty of sunshine on our highs of 80 to 85 degrees. Great weather coming.
Flight Conditions At Major Airports
SPEAKER_00Now, if you're traveling by air today, looks like excellent weather in New York, LaGuardia, JFK, no problems there. Up Boston, Logan, excellent conditions. Philly, International, Baltimore, D.C., all looking pretty good. Even down in Atlanta and Charlotte, no problems weatherwise there. Central and South Florida could be some isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon, but nothing much. Little area, low pressure across northern Florida, southern Georgia. And also
Midwest Rain And Plains Storm Risk
SPEAKER_00looking at dry weather at Houston and Dallas. Rainy conditions expected in Chicago and Minneapolis, St. Paul, West Coast, dry, LA, San Francisco, also dry, Portland and Seattle as well. Looks like the major weather micro will be in western sections of Kansas and Nebraska and even northern portions of Colorado, northeastern portion of Colorado, where it could be some locally severe weather today. In the meantime, dry weather in the east.
