of this month. A month that's uh showing us near normal precipitation, probably about an inch to a half inch below normal. time of year. Beautiful day coming up for today. What a wonderful day it was on Wednesday, plenty of sunshine. Today it's going to be mostly sunny, mid-80s, light southeast winds, but the clouds will be on the increase during the later afternoon and at night with clouds. There is a possibility of some showers and thunderstorms. This has a warm front approach to the area during the overnight hours. Some temperatures will hover back into the middle sixties. So look for that possibility of some more showers to add to the total for this month of June. And there may even be a thunderstorm on Friday. Friday's high is up to 85. So the chance to shower some thunderstorms on Friday night with nighttime low temperature 64.

And the wet weather trend will continue at least into the early portion of the weekend. Saturday, uh clouds and sun with a chance of a shower and thunderstorm, high's near 80. But by Sunday, it's looking mostly sunny and a high ranging up to 85 degrees on the 28th day of June. Monday is looking sunny, 88. Tuesday, sunshine. We end off the month with a high right around the 90-degree mark early next week. And we open up July with sunshine and also near 90 degrees.

Travel Weather Across The US

SPEAKER_00

Traveling by air today, we have a warm front approaching the area. Good weather in New York, Norwich, LaGuardia, JFK, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, and Richmond. New problems weather-wise in those places, at least for the daylight hours. Tonight, if you're going out or coming back in late, there could be some isolated thunderstorms starting to work their way in. And more trouble as far as traveling on Friday with showers and thunderstorms, even into Saturday as well. Down in Atlanta and Charlotte, today's looking pretty good. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms, central and south Florida. Looks like a clearing trend in Chicago. Good weather in Minneapolis, St. Paul. Most of the rain is going to be from central Missouri all the way up through Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and into portions of the Denver and Colorado area up to Wyoming and western portions of Montana. That's where most of the rain is going to be. High pressure is starting to build down. That's going to be moving into here for some time this upcoming weekend. But Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle all looking generally dry, although some rain is moving into the Pacific Northwest for later today and tonight.
