Welcome And Quick Setup
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Video Project Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into theWeathermanBot.com on your Sunday, 28th day of the month of June, 2026.
Yesterday’s Rainfall Recap
SPEAKER_00And we had some uh decent amounts of rainfall yesterday, generally between a quarter and three quarters of an inch of rain, depending upon where you were, and there's a good soaking rain on and off throughout the daytime. We also had some breaks in the overcast from place to place.
Sunday Forecast For The Area
SPEAKER_00Similar weather situation coming up on your Sunday, although we do have that 20% chance of a shower. I think it'll just be a mix of clouds and sunshine as our temperatures get into the 80 to 85 degree range. Not too bad of a day, but look out for that chance of a shower.
Monday And Tuesday Stay Pleasant
SPEAKER_00For tonight, it will be partly cloudy down into the middle 60s. It'll be mostly sunny on Monday. High temperatures for the day will reach the mid-80s. Very nice weather for Monday. Monday night, partly cloudy, 60 to 65. Tuesday, mostly sunny. Last day of the month, high temperatures will reach the 80s to near 90.
Heat Advisory Builds Late Week
SPEAKER_00Into the 90s on Wednesday, looks like a heat advisory will be with us on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Even as we head towards uh Friday, it will be still on the hot side all the way up to uh near 90 to 95 degrees, and in some places near 100 degrees. And that'll be on Friday and Saturday. So an extensive heat advisory towards the end of this week.
Early Fourth Of July Outlook
SPEAKER_00We've got some great weather coming up for today. Fourth of July holiday. At this point, it looks like a mostly sunny day for the 250th anniversary of the Independence Day. I'm looking at high temperatures somewhere in the 90 to 95 degree range and a 50% chance of late day and evening thunderstorms. That's next Saturday. But for today, a mix of clouds and sun might be a sprinkler or a shower. Temperature is not too bad, 80 to 85. The heat will be arriving this week. Not so on Monday, though. Highs of 85 and plenty
Air Travel Weather By Region
SPEAKER_00of sunshine. If you're traveling by air today, it looks like a frontal system stationary across northern Kentucky, West Virginia, Central, and Northern Virginia, and even southern Pennsylvania will keep some extra cloud cover there. A little bit further to the north looks like fair weather across much of New York State, but showers are possible across the Carolinas and the Virginias today. But some very hot weather starting to work its way in from the Gulf Coast and to the central Mississippi River Valley. So decent weather in the New York area. There will be a little bit of cloud cover, maybe a few sprinkles of showers here and there, but really not bad weather-wise in and out of New York, LaGuardia, JFK, or Newark. Looking at decent weather also up in the Boston area, although there could be a few showers. Rainy conditions are expected in Charlotte and also in DC and Baltimore. Atlanta, maybe a few light showers, but nothing major expected there. Central and South Florida, still those late-day thunderstorms, otherwise generally dry conditions. Houston and Dallas hot and dry. Good weather in Chicago, rainy weather in Minneapolis, St. Paul, West Coast, LA, and San Francisco. It will be good. Looks like a little bit of rain up in Portland, in Oregon, and also in a Seattle-Tacoma area as well. Some scattered showers. Nothing major, though. Biggest weather makers most likely will be across the Carolinas and the Virginias with that rain expected during the afternoon and evening
