Northeast Rain Recap
SPEAKER_00And we had a pretty decent day across the Northeast. A lot of rain showers across the Virginias and the Carolinas, but uh just light sprinkle action elsewhere, mostly in the early portion of the day on Saturday.
Sunny Sunday And Monday Forecast
SPEAKER_00And looks like our weather situation for at least Sunday and Monday are looking pretty good. We're looking at sunny skies on Sunday for the most part. That's from uh round Baltimore, northward to Philly, New York City, up in the Boston area. Highs will range into the middle eighties, then mostly clear weather at night, down to about 62 to 67, so quite comfortable during the overnight. Another mostly sunny day for Monday. Monday's highs middle to upper 80s, a few spots near 90.
Heat Builds Toward Midweek
SPEAKER_00It will go into the 90s on Tuesday. Sunny skies 90 to 95. Could get all the way up to 98 degrees on Wednesday. Going to deal with that heat again midweek, but by Thursday, sunshine 93, also 93 for Friday of this week. Looks like dry weather for a good balance of this upcoming week in the month of July. But temperatures will be above normal after today and
Air Travel Weather Across The US
SPEAKER_00Monday. If we're traveling by air today, big area of high pressure continues to give the New York area generally good weather all the way up to the Boston area. No problems there, no problems in the Chicago, Minneapolis area, even down into central and south Florida. Looks like just scattered showers. Looks like uh pretty decent weather after uh even down in Miami.
Soccer Result And Atlanta Storm Risk
SPEAKER_00We had uh on Saturday the game between England and Norway. Of course, England uh won two to one, and uh looks like they'll be going to Atlanta. Atlanta right now showing rain showers and possibly some delays getting in and out of Atlanta and Charlotte because of showers and some thunderstorms. Also, some thunderstorms around Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, basically dry but muggy and warm. And it looks like dry weather continues
West Coast Outlook And Sign-Off
SPEAKER_00across the West Coast. Maybe some showers just north of Los Angeles and up in San Francisco, generally dry. Good weather in Seattle, Tacoma as well.
