Welcome And Calendar Check

SPEAKER_00

Hi, this is Mid Your Baller Steve Pelletti, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Sunday. It is the ninth day of the month of August. Getting close to the third wavemar through this month of August. This summer is flying

Sunny Sunday Heat Without Advisory

SPEAKER_00

by. And we had a pretty decent day on Saturday, or some scattered thunderstorms, but not much. Today we've got uh some pretty nice weather, some patchy fog to start, and otherwise it'll be a sunny day. But temperatures quite warm. 90 to 95. The humidity values are lower, so the heat advisory has not been extended for your Sunday or Monday for that matter. As a matter of fact, Sunday night mostly cleared down to about 70.

Monday Storm Risk And Week Ahead

SPEAKER_00

On Monday, look for an increase in clouds. We'll start off with sunshine, and then high temperatures of 90 to 95. There could be some late day or evening thunderstorms. A 30% chance of that. Shower some thunderstorms likely on Monday night, down to 72. Then for the remainder of this week in August, it looks like mostly sunny weather, near 90 on Tuesday, slight chance of a late-day thundershower. Similar pattern on Wednesday, Thursday. A little bit drier as we head towards Friday and this weekend. Friday, Sunshine 84, and Saturday mostly sunny 82.

Late August Sun Angle And Cooling

SPEAKER_00

As you get into the middle of the month of August, the sun is not as high as it was during June or early July. And as a matter of fact, it's rising a little bit later, setting a little bit early each and every day. Less and less time for sunshine. So you're going to start seeing these high pressures start to move down out of Canada and give us some very nice weather with some very agreeable temperatures. And that's what we're expecting for Friday and this upcoming weekend in August.

Air Travel Outlook Across The US

SPEAKER_00

Now, if you're traveling by air today, really don't see any major problems. There will be some heavier rains across Wisconsin and central Lake Michigan. Also scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in central and South Florida, which is typical for this time of year. Rainy weather in Houston, but Dallas is looking dry and hot. And Chicago probably has some rainy weather expected there. Atlanta and Charlotte, generally fair conditions with some scattered afternoon and evening showers. Dry weather at LA, San Francisco, all the way up to Seattle and Portland. Looks like the worst of the weather at this point looks to be across just over southern portions of Wisconsin, northern Illinois. That route from Chicago up to Milwaukee. That area will have some heavier thunderstorms during this afternoon. But uh not much for flying. I don't see any problems for the New York area or for Boston as well. Philadelphia and DC also looking pretty good.

Final Recap And Tomorrow Tease
