Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Lord, have mercy on us.

Holy Trinity, one God, have have mercy on us.

Heart of Jesus, Son of the Eternal Father, have mercy on us.

Heart of Jesus, formed by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virigin Mother,

Heart of Jesus , united substantially with the Word of God,

Heart of Jesus, house of God and gate of heaven,

Heart of Jesus, glowing furnace of charity,

Heart of Jesus, vessel of justice and love,

Heart of Jesus, king and center of all hearts,

Heart of Jesus, in whom are all treasures of wisdom and knowledge,

Let us Pray: Almighty and everlasting God, graciously regard the heart of Your well-beloved Son and the acts of praise and satisfaction which HE renders You on behalf of us sinners; and through their merit, grant pardon to us who implore Your mercy, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, Who lives and reign with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end.Amen
