This episode honors the Goddess of Prosperity, Lakshmi, during her Festival, Diwali, the festival of Lights. This year, Diwali, falls at the New Moon Solar Eclipse, so we need to mitigate the eclipse by chanting Lakshmi Mantras.  Lakshmi is the Goddess in Vedic Pantheon, who brings all types of prosperity and wealth when she is propitiated.  We are in Eclipse Season (listen to my previous podcast on the Eclipses of October-November 2022). These eclipses are impacted the money signs of Taurus and Scorpio in Western Astrology.  Many are predicting dire economic times ahead with more recessionary and inflationary fall out.
Listen to my previous podcasts with Lakshmi Mantras.:  Sanskrit Mantras for Abundance and Prosperity: released in November 2021, Lakshmi’s Garden:  Seed Prosperity with Sanskrit Mantras, released on April 9, 2021, and Sanskrit Mantras for Wealth: released on October 7, 2020. Lakshmi is recognized in eight forms, known as Ashta Lakshmi (ashta is Sanskrit for eight).  the eight manifestations of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of prosperity. She presides over eight sources of wealth: spirituality, material wealth, agriculture, royalty, knowledge, courage, progeny, and victory.

Adi Lakshmi (Primordial Lakshmi) is portrayed to be the earliest form of Lakshmi.  Adi Lakshmi is the manifestation who supports a seeker to reach their source, or Atman. This aspect of the goddess is responsible for the furtherance in the quest for spiritual wealth.
Her mantra is: "OM SRI ADI LAKSHMIYEI NAMAHA"

Dhana Lakshmi (Wealth Lakshmi)
is Lakshmi in her form as the goddess of material wealth. Her mantra translates to: "Saluting She who bestows noble material wealth."
"OM SRI DHANA LAKSHMIYEI NAMAHA"

Dhanya Lakshmi (Grain Lakshmi) is the form of Lakshmi who represents the wealth of agriculture.  She blesses with the wealth of good crops and proper nutrition.  If someone is trying to figure out what diet is best for them they should chant to "Dhanya Lakshmi," as she is the one who provides means of and for nourishment.
"OM SRI DHANYA LAKSHMIYEI NAMAHA"

Dhairya /Veera Lakshmi (Courage Lakshmi), or Veera Lakshmi (Valourous Lakshmi), is a form of Lakshmi inspired by Durga. She is the form of the goddess who bestows valour during battles, and courage plus strength for overcoming difficulties in life.

Vijaya Lakshmi or Jaya Lakshmi (Victorious Lakshmi) is also a manifestation drawn from Durga. She is form of the goddess who bestows victory,  not only in battles, but also for conquering hurdles in order to achieve success.  Her mantra translates to "Saluting She who bestows success in endeavors, making one victorious."
