July is quite the transitional month, highlighting the health of our relationships. The Nodes of the moon shift into the signs of Libra (South Node) and Aries (North Node) for a 18 month transit until January 11, 2025. Aries/Libra is the relationships axis in Astrology, with Aries focusing on ME and Libra is the OTHER. Relationship issues will be stirred up and brought to the surface. Venus been showering her luminescence in Leo, but will retrograde on July 22 -September 3, 2023. Goddess of Love Venus backtracking will frustrate relationship trajectories, forcing reassessment and re-evaluation of who we want to spend time with. Venus reversal in Leo will interfere with hedonistic plans and pursuits of pleasure.
On July 10, Mars transits into Virgo, helping us get focused and take action to complete projects and other tasks that need our attention.

Speaker 1:Outer planets, saturn, neptune and Pluto are traveling retrograde and Venus joins the retrogression on July 22. What has been done can be undone. Time really seems to be warping as linear time and quantum time merge. We get to redo and revisit as Pluto ends a 14-year sojourn through Capricorn, dismantling the old systems and structures through January 2024. Here are the key dates and planetary ingresses for July 2023. On July 3, there's a full moon with the sun and cancer and moon in Capricorn. On July 10, mars transits into Virgo. On July 11, mercury transits into Leo until July 28. Cancer New Moon arrives on July 17. On July 18, the lunar nodes shift into the north node in Aries and south node in Libra until January 11, 2025. On July 22, venus goes retrograde in Leo. On the same day, july 22, the sun enters Leo And on July 28, mercury enters Virgo.
Speaker 1:So as we start July, i was looking back at the big news stories in late June and seeing the astrological significance of them. The whole fiasco with the Ocean's Gate Titan sub implosion reeks of retrograde Saturn and Pisces. It was launched on the day Saturn went retrograde, june 18. Someone should have consulted an astrologer. Survival with Saturn, the karmic lord, diverging backwards into Pisces in depths, didn't have a chance. Here's the astrological symbolism Saturn rules structure and Pisces rules the oceans. Structures were compromised by a retrograde Saturn in the Pisces and watery realms.
Speaker 1:Also, at the end of June, right after the summer solstice, we also heard about an uprising from a mercenary paramilitary group called Wagner inside Russia, who were marching toward Moscow. The rebellious mercenary soldiers who briefly took over a Russian military headquarters on an ominous march toward Moscow were gone by Sunday, june 25. But the short-lived revolt had weakened President Vladimir Putin, just as his forces were facing a fierce counteroffensive in the Ukraine Under terms of the agreement that ended the crisis, yezhgeny Prigozhin. Excuse my pronunciation of the Russian name, who was the leader of the Wagner troops in the failed uprising, will go into exile in Belarus but will not face prosecution. But it was unclear what would ultimately happen to him in his forces. So this whole incident in Russia was brought to us courtesy of Pluto retrograding back in Capricorn, which began June 11, 2023. Pluto, representing power and also can be shadow groups marching backward in Capricorn, the existing power brokers or leaders, president Putin's power was threatened for the first time in 11 years as Russia's leader. Plutonian power regressing as Capricornian structures dismantled. We will see more of this shifting and changing of power and governments worldwide in the next six months, courtesy of Pluto retrograding and then marching forward through the final degrees of Capricorn.

As it is a full moon in the natural sign of the moon, cancer, and with Mercury also there, emotions will be raw and feelings could get hurt. Stay away from arguments when gathering with friends and family to celebrate the 4th of July, saturn and Pisces and Jupiter and Taurus loosely aspect the full moon, so enjoy Saturnian sense of surreal combined with Jupiterian expansiveness and abundance.

Speaker 1:On July 10th, mars transits into Virgo, helping us to get focused and take action to complete projects and other tasks that need our attention. This provides a unique combination of fire and foresight. So the fiery Mars will give us passion to get things done, both Mars and Virgo. I hate to waste time, even if it's for different reasons. Mars is always in a hurry and Virgo is a stickler for efficiency. Mars will help us complete even menial tasks around the house or bigger work projects that have been needing our attention.
Speaker 1:Mercury leaps into Leo on July 11th through July 28th, joining Venus in the lion's lair. This will help balances Mars intense work focus by adding some fun and frolic into the mix. We will seek out leisure and pleasure with Mercury and Venus and luxurious Leo. When Mercury is in Leo, our thinking is more confident and grand. The focus is now on a goal, and the grounder a goal the better. We are also more convincing and persuasive as we exude confidence when we speak or write. With this transit, we may not listen as well as we normally do, since we're so focused on our own ideas.
Speaker 1:Cancer new moon arrives on July 17th. This new moon in cancer, tri-neptune and Pisces provides a chill time to take a break, nurture yourself, find comfort in the simple things and cherish time with your family and loved ones. Trust your intuition and instincts. When we are not experiencing stress, we can let our intuitive senses guide us To the right direction where we can experience life in a more pleasurable and balanced way. This new moon also sex tiles Uranus and Taurus, so pursuing creature comforts is a strong inclination. This includes seeking more financial security and perhaps spending money on home and family. Uranus trining this new moon could bring some unexpected expenditures on living situations or benefits financially. This new moon occurs at 25 degrees cancer, with the sun and moon conjoined to that degree. I think this might be cautionary against world leaders who hold power and have a messianic complex, or we must see the rise of more cult-like leaders worldwide.
Speaker 1:On July 18, the nodes of the moon switch into the Sinairis for the North Node, and Libra, the South Node, where they will transit until January 11, 2025. Nodes are the karmic axis in astrology and when they change signs, it sets the tone for the collective karmic lessons for the next 18 months. Aries and Libra are the war and peace axis in astrology. Aries signifies self and Libra signifies the other. People will be thinking more about what they want in life. Peace is ruled by Mars the warrior, so we might see more aggression among individuals and countries. We might see more volatile situations arising, worldwide skirmishes and potentials for wars. With the South Node transcending Libra, a sign of keeping peace, there may be more negotiations to keep the peace than the return to diplomacy. The South Node in Libra is ruled by Venus, the Lover. Perhaps more compassion can arise for the plight of the other and we can see the burgeoning love and peace arising in the world as we realize the Aquarian keynote that we are one and not separate, but all connected, or we can have compassion by remembering the phrase therefore, the grace of God, go I.
Speaker 1:The sun enters Leo and Venus retrogrades in Leo on July 22. This is the planet of love, romance, value and money, so this retrograde impacts our relationships or finances, or both. Venus retrogrades 42 days every two years. When Venus goes retrograde, the sun sign it is traveling through will be affected in this case Leo, as well as the sign Venus rules, which are Taurus and Libra. Relationships will be feeling the stress and rocky relationships will crumble. This is enhanced because the nodes of the moon just changed signs on GLI 18th to the south node in Libra and the north node in Aries and Libra rules relationships. Relationships will become complicated and many may find themselves trying to untangle from existing relationships or commitments. Many relationships will simply dissolve or disintegrate. However, for single people, this is a fun time as many will be on the lookout for new romance and fan the flames of flirtation under Venusian Leo love lights.
