We have a full moon lunar eclipse occurring on March 25th at 3 am EST, with the full moon in Libra and the sun in Aries, and then the new moon solar eclipse comes on April 8th at 2.21 pm EST, with the sun and moon together in Aries. This solar eclipse is being heralded as a game changer and its path falls across a large chunk of the United States. This solar eclipse path sweeps across central Mexico, parts of Texas, oklahoma, arkansas, missouri, kentucky, illinois, indiana, ohio, pennsylvania, new York, vermont, new Hampshire, maine and Southern Canada. Those places are sure to be affected in some ways in the coming months after the eclipse. It's called the Eclipse Fallout.
Speaker 1:Go back and listen to my previous episode on Eclipses I recorded back on May 22nd 2020, entitled Total Eclipse of the Heart what you need to know about Eclipses and more information. I will tell you some of that. I'll do a recap and in today's episode I will discuss these upcoming Eclipses in March and April and what they mean for us all. Stay tuned till the end of the episode when I give the forecast for each zodiac sign on how you will be affected by these Eclipses that occur in the signs Libra and Aries. But first I want to discuss the astrological significance of Eclipses and why we should care about them. They become very personally important if you have a birthday or someone you know has a birthday on the day of the eclipse or a couple days before or after one.
Speaker 1:Eclipses can affect you personally as well if another planet in your natal chart is activated, if it's located at these eclipse degrees. By another planet, I mean we have 10 planets altogether and the nodes of our moon, so that gives a lot of archetypal energy, the ability to get activated. Specifically, if it does fall on your sun, moon, mercury, venus, mars and nodes of the moon, which is the evolutionary access that we all have in our charts, you're going to have some kind of shift or changes coming in and that's where you need to consult an experienced, professional astrologer who can tell you if any of your planets will be affected by the Eclipses and what area of your life will experience change. So you can check out my website, jilljardineastrologycom so that I can give you a reading and tell you what these Eclipses have in store for you personally. You'll hear what your zodiac sign is going to receive or get impacted by the eclipse.
Speaker 1:So what do Eclipses do? They can sometimes hide things from our consciousness, take something away or reveal something. Solar Eclipses tend to expose or reveal something that was hidden, while lunar Eclipses can bring up unexpected challenges. Lunar Eclipses tend to take things away. Eclipses also affect the collective consciousness, our country, our society and the world at large. They mark turning points for collective humanity. They indicate change or big shifts are coming, for better or for worse, and they also show us what we need to look at during the next six months that follow the eclipse. I've noticed it usually takes the month or even two months out from the actual eclipse event to see the result of that eclipse pattern, whether that's in your personal life or in the collective life.
Speaker 1:And there is a reason why the agents, our ancestors, feared Eclipses. For one thing, they saw them as big fires in the sky, or they would see the sun disappear or the moon disappear from the sky or a ring around the sun. They worked spectacles for these ancient people to view and being able to view it without even eyeglasses or telescopes, it was pretty, pretty scary. So usually after Eclipses in ancient times until this day, there were regime changes, meaning those in power would shift. Sometimes there was actual coups where those in power would be taken out of power, or there was changes by death of rulers and leaders. For in the past, if there was an eclipse, sometimes the natives knew that something was going to happen to their country, whether it be beset with invading Marauders who came and burned down the villages. Eclipses were also seen as precursors to Mother Earth waking up, thus creating weather anomalies earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes and other weather phenomena, and this is true even today.
Speaker 1:So now I'm going to tell you the difference between a solar and lunar eclipse. Now, march 25th 2024 is going to be a lunar eclipse, and they are sometimes considered more malefic than solar eclipses, especially in western astrology, while in Vedic astrology the solar eclipses are feared more. A lunar eclipse occurs on a full moon, when the sun and moon are in the opposite signs. So there's going to be a tension and pull of the polarity of these opposite zodiac signs During the March 25th lunar eclipse. The polarity of Libra, which is where the moon is going to be, and Aries, where the sun will be, will be activated During a lunar eclipse. Astronomically, the earth is exactly between the sun and the moon. We can see the earth's shadow affecting the color of the moon, which can sometimes turn reddish, orangey, brown or gray during a lunar eclipse. And in fact, we did have a series of orange full moon lunar eclipses back in 24 and 2015. And those were called blood moons when the moon began to look an orangey color. And let's think, what was that? A precursor to? Here in the United States 2016, we had a regime change. So these eclipses do tell us and forecast changes are coming.
Speaker 1:This particular eclipse on March 25th is not a blood moon. That blood moon is more of a rarity. There was also a very powerful blood moon on September 27th 2015, which was a super full moon, and we had another one like that on May 26, 2021, a lunar eclipse, which was a blood moon, super full moon. So we're a few years out from those and again, this one on March 25th is not a blood moon but a lunar eclipse.
Speaker 1:But, not to be a Debbie Downer, the collective consciousness is certainly affected by lunar eclipses as our individuals. People can get really emotional at lunar eclipse and we can see the raising and rising of trauma and buried emotions which, as we go into these eclipses in March, we're seeing that already. Emotions such as anger, fear, rage, jealousy can come to the surface. A lot of shadow content, meaning that which was hidden, shows up. Relationships can take a toll during eclipses and the fallout after them. And this is certainly true with this full moon lunar eclipse coming on March 25th 2024, because the moon will be in the sign Libra, which is the relationship sign. So things will be shaken up and we'll see big changes, secrets revealed and I want to talk about what happens after the eclipse. It's called eclipse fallout.
Speaker 1:In fact, it's suggested that eclipses can be so malefic that beta-chastrologers say don't go outside during a lunar eclipse or solar eclipse, stay inside if you can, in Medicaid. In general, in Western astrology solar eclipses aren't viewed as malefic as lunar eclipses, but in beta-chastrology they do fear the solar eclipses. What solar eclipses can do is usher in new beginnings. The electromagnetic radiations are felt very strongly and sometimes around these eclipses, especially solar eclipses, we have a preponderance of solar flares or there are sunspots on the actual sun in our galaxy that is affecting us here on Earth. What solar eclipses do for us as people on the planet is that they shine light on what has been hidden from individuals or in collective society.
Speaker 1:The astrological phenomena that brings solar eclipses, or the astronomy of a solar eclipse, is when the moon lines up directly between the Earth and the sun. So solar eclipses always happen at new moons, when the sun and Earth are together. So you're going to see an activation of the sign that the sun and moon are in during the solar eclipse and for the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, sun and moon are both in the signaries. So we want to look at in our personal charts where does Aries fall? What house does it rule? Do you have any planets here? The degree of the April 8 eclipse, which actually occurs at 19 degrees Aries. So you that know astrology out there, you might want to look and see if you have any planets located at 19 degrees Aries in your chart.
Speaker 1:Sometimes the solar eclipses give us a little precursor as far as what is coming next, personally and for society. The moon can block out the Sun's light at a solar eclipse, distorting our sense of reality. So it's really important not to make any big decisions during this eclipse window, that's, at the lunar or solar eclipse, as your clarity can be obscured, just like the Sun or Moon being obscured, and there can also be confusion. Eclipses tend to clean the slate, whether the slate is your mind, your experiences, a relationship or other situations that eclipses can bring up. So if we can use that energy, knowing that a new beginning is coming around the corner after the solar eclipse, and maybe wait a few days or even weeks before we start a new path, that's a good way to use the energy. Sometimes the solar eclipse opens up opportunities, pushing us in a new directive in our life, on a collective level or societal level. Solar eclipses are very interesting times to see what shows up in the media, lots of secrets are revealed and people will be exposed. Solar eclipses force growth and, as I said, they tend to activate one sign of the zodiac, because the Sun and Moon are there together.
Speaker 1:So what is eclipse fallout? As I mentioned earlier, lunar eclipses can take things away from us, both personally and collectively. Also, there are big things that happen during what I call the eclipse window, which is in the weeks leading up to an eclipse and for several months after, up to even three months after. Many people may die or leave their bodies during these eclipse windows. Many powerful souls can also incarnate during eclipse windows, but for those who choose to leave their bodies or die during an eclipse window, it's like a big portal from the Earth to higher dimensions is open and they get turbocharged out of their bodies and souls can choose the exit strategy to leave their body. Usually, many people who die in this eclipse aftermath are waiting for a way to exit from this lifetime, and fast, and that's where we see a lot of people dying suddenly. Maybe they didn't even show symptoms that they were ill. So there can be lots of shocks around eclipses. In fact, there are what we call aftershocks of things like earth changes. Earthquakes occur quite a bit after eclipses, as do weird weather phenomena during or after the eclipses, such as tornadoes, hail, hurricanes and tsunamis and other weather phenomena of biblical proportions sometimes. So it'll be interesting to see what's going to happen after the eclipse cycles of March through April 2024.
Speaker 1:Here are some of my predictions for the upcoming eclipse the lunar eclipse of March 25th and the solar eclipse of April 8th. The big eclipse episode begins on March 25th 2024, at 3 am EST, with the full moon lunar eclipse. It will fall across much of Europe, northeast Asia, much of Australia, much of Africa, north America, south America, pacific, atlantic ocean, the Arctic and Antarctica. Remember, those areas where the eclipse falls will be affected by weather anomalies and geomagnetic earth shifts in the coming months. At this full moon lunar eclipse, the astrological polarity of Libra, where the moon will be, and areas where the sun is will be triggered, and those born during those sunsigns will be affected strongly.
Speaker 1:During this lunar eclipse, our physical reality may undergo a transformation. Some believe we are merging dimensions as the third-dimensional realities reveal their density and limitation. Higher-dimensional realities disclose their potentialities. Our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies are being rewired and upgraded by multidimensional light pouring in from the galactic portals and spiritual source that can beam in much more intensely. Thank you to the eclipses, we are receiving an upgrade if we can access those higher levels of consciousness. That's why it's always a good idea to sit in a meditative or prayerful or quiet space during the actual time and again, the one on March 25, 2024 occurs early in the morning, at 3 am, so many will be sleeping, and that is East Coast time here in the US, while the solar eclipse occurs in the afternoon at 2.21 pm on the East Coast. Speaker 1:The breakthroughs will come post-eclipse, during the Mercury retrograde cycle, which lasts until April 25th. And then there are two major astrological conjunctions one on April 10th, with Saturn conjunct Mars in Pisces, which some are viewing as good and some are viewing as very, very challenging, because Saturn and Mars are two malefics in astrology and they're coming together. And then around April 20th to the 24th, we're gonna have two other planets conjunct Uranus, the changemaker, and Jupiter, the guru or teacher or cosmic Santa Claus are gonna be conjunct in Taurus. Uranus and Jupiter conjunct in Taurus equal 20 to 24. So we have the actual eclipses and then some of these interesting conjunctions of planets that will happen after the eclipses are portal days or openings to new realities or higher dimensions. Now the new moon solar eclipse on April 8th 2024 will occur at 19 degrees Aries, which conjuncts Mercury retrograde in Aries and Chiron, the wounded healer, teacher Chiron is an asteroid that has come into Western astrology when it was discovered in the late 70s and it has to do with healing. We have to heal the wounds of the past before we move to the next level, and the solar eclipse on April 8th will continue the theme of revelations, disclosures and hidden information coming to light.
Speaker 1:There's much talk in the alternative media's and among new ages and others that this April 8th eclipse is going to bring some pivotal events and, as an astrologer of over 30 years professionally, I've tuned in, I have tried to suss out what actually is going to happen. I do think there's going to be an event, but I don't think it's going to last long. People have to be careful not to fall into fear or anxiety because it will shift or change or stir up something, and I'm not going to label how it's going to actually play out, but there'll be a disturbance in the forest in some way, and so being flexible and adapt and know that whatever shows up during this early April window is not going to be long term, but it's going to show us that there are some energetics at play that perhaps we weren't aware of that could affect the collective. So it'll be interesting. It also gives the opportunity for many to wake up and start smelling the coffee and see what's happening in our world and take back sovereignty and realize that people don't have to be sheep all anymore. So there will be a market event around this New Moon Solar eclipse of April 8th. And remember, be discerning where you put your attention. Energy flows where attention goes, so be discerning. Choose your realities wisely, dispel confusion, seek clarity and adjust your life according to the bigger vision for yourself. Try not to get caught up in any distractions that are coming in from mainstream media or out there. Focus on your own healing. Remember New Moon Solar Eclipse signify new beginnings, despite the eclipse of the sun and moon, remember you have to feel it to heal it.
Speaker 1:The Sabian symbol, an archetypal system describing the symbolic meaning of the 360 degrees of the Zodiac for the Solar Eclipse degree of 19 degrees. Aries is the magic carpet of Oriental imagery. So this is a very mystical and magical Sabian symbol which tells us that there are higher realities and magical realities outside of what seems to be showing up in our third dimensional world. It's also the use of our creative imagination. It's about having transcendent understanding above what looks like the reality, the static floor which is symbolized by the carpet on which the man's feet symbols of understanding, rest can become transformed into the means of great flights of imagination and super physical perceptions. The period of rest from outwardly directed activity bound to collective normality presents the creative mind with the possibility of surveying and dreams the totality of the present day social situation, thus to see whole. A strife transcending an unattached outlook upon everyday reality. So again, pick your reality during April. Do you want it to be what's being perpetuated out there or do you want to live the magic of your life?

There are many benefits of healing, physical upgrades and other consciousness shifting effects. This is activating the first house's self and seventh house of the other, or relationship, access. So there'll be changes in how you view yourself and how you view your relationships. Remember the choice is yours. You can willingly release something in your life or the universe might decide to take it away from you. Be proactive and look at all aspects of your life and that your relationships reflect who you want to be. The eclipses affecting your first house's self and seventh house of relationship will trigger your own evolution, which means that you might grow out of relationships. There can be endings in relationships, friendships and with other people as you honor yourself.
Speaker 1:Aries and Libra, experiencing both sides of the spectrum of self and others. Taurus and Scorpio your financial access in astrology is lit up. Don't be fearful or anxious about money. Actually, consider new means of making money. In the next few months, certain sources of income may go away and new potentialities for resource may come in. Inheritances, insurance settlements and money from unexpected places can show up. Remember you are valuable and have much to contribute, as you honor your own self-worth. Thus you will be rewarded.
Speaker 1:Gemini and Sagittarius your communications could be hindered or misinterpreted. Be very clear with what you have to say and deliver your messages with neutrality and equanimity. Others don't feel that there is a charge behind them or take them personally. It's very important that you are considerate and discerning in your communications because Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is retrograde. You may have to deal with delays and disturbances with travel or internet use. Your connectivity with phone or computers or any form of communication may be disrupted or experience interference. Watch out for hacking being hacked. In the coming months, you'll have opportunities to fine-tune all your communication efforts.

Colleagues or bosses may leave for various reasons, including sudden death. You may consider professional life changes, perhaps focus on Dharma and your big mission in life, your life purpose, looking at what is your place, both geographically and darmically, in the world right now.

You're looking at making the world a better place for future generations and your future self.

Look to connect with your soul through meditation, connecting with nature and improving your alignment with your spiritual source.
