Jill Jardine, M.A. Counseling/Psychology, and certified Sanskrit Mantra instructor shares mantras to boost your self-esteem.  What is Self-Esteem?  In psychology, the term self-esteem is used to describe a person's overall sense of personal worth or value.

Self-esteem tends to be lowest in childhood and increases during adolescence, as well as adulthood, eventually reaching a stable level.  Self-esteem is important because it impacts your decision-making process, your relationships, your emotional health, and your overall well-being.  It also influences motivation.

There are many ways to boost our self-esteem such as identify and challenge any negative beliefs you may hold, build positive relationships and avoid negative ones, and take on challenges.  Self-esteem can be improved by identifying and amplifying the positive about yourself, becoming more assertive and saying, "No," improving physical health, and taking on challenges.
