Speaker 1:Welcome to the episode on the astrology of January 2025. It's going to be an unprecedented astrological year as five major planets change sides, including the lunar nodes shifting into the Pisces-Virgo axis within the first seven months of 2025. All this astroactivity precursors a wild ride in 2025. There are three Mercury retrograde cycles mid-March to early April, july 18th through August 11th and during most of the month of November. Two intense eclipse cycles in March, coinciding with the first Mercury retrograde and the second in September and more. Stay tuned until the end of the episode when I share the sun sign forecasts and best dates in January for each zodiac sign. January is an action-packed month with lots of planetary purging for the duration until the lunar new year chimes in on January 29th. Pluto is fully ensconced in Aquarius and moving swiftly through the early degrees. Parting on New Year's Day with the moon in Aquarius, new Year's Day 2025 is launched with a Plutonian lunar trice in Aquarius, opposing Mars and Leo. It's an explosive ignition to a year that will be full of surprises, as the Plutonian-Aquarian awakenings await us in 2025. The Sun transits into Aquarius on January 19th, opening another Plutonian portal. When Sun and Pluto conjunct just in time for Inauguration Day in the United States on January 20th, this is a volatile combination that doesn't augur for a stable outcome. The Aquarian train keeps a rolling and gains steam as mercury transits into aquarius on january 27th, cavorting with powerful pluto, and the moon joins the cosmic party on january 29th at the lunar new year, ushering in the chinese new year of the snake. Get ready to slide and dive in 2025, becoming serpentine, slithering along and raising kundalini. Uranian electricity ignites the new moon celebration. As Uranus, the overlord of Aquarius, goes direct on January 30th, after months of retrograde, we are all launched into the celestial realms of Aquarian airspace. Hang on to your helmets, rock and roll.
Speaker 1:Here are the key dates in January 2024. 1-1, happy New Year. January 1st, pluto-moon conjunction brings it on with a bang conjunction brings it on with a bang. On January 2nd, venus transits into Pisces until February 4th. On January 6th, mars retrogrades into Cancer from Leo. On January 8th, 1-1-1, the nodes will shift, with the north node going into Pisces and the south node in Virgo, where they'll be until July 26, 2026. On the 13th of January we have a full moon in Cancer with the Sun in Capricorn. January 19th, the Sun enters Aquarius at 2 pm Eastern Time, with a Sun-Pluto conjunction on the 19th and 20th. On the 27th, mercury transits into Aquarius. On the 29th of January we have the Lunar New Year with the new moon in Aquarius. We have the Lunar New Year with the new moon in Aquarius and on the 30th, uranus goes direct in Taurus. So you can see it's a very busy kickoff to the new year, with the first month of January all kinds of astral antics playing out.
Speaker 1:New Year's Day 1125, is kicked off with an Aquarian moon in the mix of an Aquarius-Pluto, mars and Leo opposition lighting up the sky with fire and air An explosive combination. Venus transits into Pisces the next day, on January 2nd, putting out the flames of aggression and showering romance and love down from her exalted state. It may feel like an early Venusian Valentine vibe during January, as the goddess of love and money sends blessings before moving into aggressive Aries in early February. In early January, the opposition of home-loving Cancer energies vie with the Capricornian work ethic as Mars transits backward into Cancer for a long winter's nap until February 24th when he transits direct. Meanwhile, mercury morphs into Capricorn on January 8th, cracking the whip on buckling down, getting back to work and taking care of business. The focus on safety and security is heightened in early January with the competing Capricorn versus Cancerian energies which come to a head on the Cancer full moon on January 13th, the first lunar event of 2025. Mercury and Sun and Capricorn face off with the Moon and Mars and Cancer, with a harmonious aspect to both the Sun and Moon, from Uranus and Taurus and Neptune and Pisces. The choice is between staying stuck in old ways or being dug in versus going with the flow. Uranus, the lightning rod of change, glances at this full moon as an opportune time to stir up scenarios. Capricornian karmas abound and if you don't know what you still need to release, clear and purge. Figure it out fast, before the lunar new year on January 29th.
Speaker 1:The Cancer-Capricorn polarity deals with the balance between the private life. The Cancer-Capricorn polarity deals with the balance between the private life, domesticity, the need for a home base and nurturance, represented by Cancer, versus the public life, career, reputation and accountability represented by Capricorn. Attachments and love are ruled by Cancer, while achievements and rewards punishments are ruled by Capricorn. The Cancer moon encourages us to value our home base and our roots, while Capricorn persuades us to consider our sense of duty and responsibility along public lines. While Cancer may most enjoy attaching to the home and family, capricorn urges us to attend to our responsibilities in the outside world. Neglecting either end of this axis will surely backfire. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the full moon invites us to do. This full moon is about balancing our commitment to our career and families.
Speaker 1:This full moon occurs at 24 degrees cancer. It brings up issues of future security, including financial and job stability. Capricorn rules business and economic concerns. Tightening the belt economically and physically may be indicated in this coming year. There could be some interesting news about the economy around this full moon on January 13th. Get down to business. Make big plans and go to work to make it happen. The full moon aligns harmoniously with Uranus and Taurus and Neptune and Pisces, giving the green light to forge forward, embrace change and be open to receive a little luck. So let's look at the Sabian symbol for 24 degrees Capricorn, this full moon degree.
Speaker 1:According to Dane Rudar, the author of an astrological mandala, that degree Sabian symbol is quote a woman and two men castaways on a small island of the South Seas. The keynote is the focalization of complex interpotentialities in harmonic and concrete relationships. We are dealing here with a special phase of the process of integration. The key to the problem of relationship should be the realization of interdependence. Unquote from Dane Rudar. So, hmm, how does this relate to our current times? I think it has something to do with the divine feminine rising in our society. In this scenario, the woman has two men to pick from or mate with on the small South Seas island Not bad odds for the feminine. Meanwhile, the men have to work together and not compete. Thus the interdependence the woman and the two men all need to work together to survive in isolation. Also, I think this is symbolic at this time because I feel we are coming into a time when small groups of us will feel that we are living in a different reality than the mainstream, in our little isolated enclaves with our like-minded tribe. When we connect in these small groups with similar intention and purpose for survival or life, we realize that perhaps we can live outside of the existing system and all its craziness and still thrive.
Speaker 1:The other major planetary shift that happens before the full moon on the 13th is when the nodes of the moon shift signs. They were in Aries North Node, libra South Node since July of 2023. And on January 11th they switch into the North node in Pisces and South node in Virgo. So tag Virgo and Pisces, you're it, and the nodes of the mood will also indicate where the eclipses fall for the next year and a half. So we're going to see these eclipses happening in the signs of Virgo and Pisces, which also will throw a whammy to those signs.
Speaker 1:And if you have any other planets in those degrees allopathic and take a lot of big pharma drugs and the compartmentalization of illness in the body, instead of the holistic approach as represented by Pisces, virgo is like oh, let's just look at that part of your body that's acting up and maybe let's deal with that without figuring out the source. So we're going to see a lot of advances in medicine and healing. We're going to see maybe the two worlds of energy, healing and health, come together. There's going to be a lot of issues around insurance coverage for health issues and what it doesn't cover issues and what it doesn't cover. And also we're going to see a lot of new healing technologies come out, as represented by the Virgo, which Virgo likes technology. So we're going to see combination of spiritual healing, advanced form of healing.
Speaker 1:Water is going to become very important with the North Node and Pisces both the water that we drink and purification of water, and maybe scarcity or lack of water and also water as it comes in inundations, flooding and other excess manifestations of water through weather phenomena. We're also going to look at the waters of the world, such as the oceans and seas, and see how they may be purified or what needs to happen to make them more sustainable for all life forms that depend on it. So there'll be a lot of interesting developments with Virgo, earth and Pisces water. We may even see some Earth changes occur and that's certainly on the radar for 2025 with some of the shifts of the other planets. Saturn will be going into Aries in May, but first of all, neptune goes into Aries in March of 2025. 2025. That's water going in to fire, ie steam we might see steam rising from beneath the earth and other weird phenomena. And then later we've got Uranus leaving Taurus, earth sign going into Gemini, continuing the split and polarizations, and then we have Jupiter going into Cancer in July. So I have a whole podcast that has been recently released on all these transits in 2025.
Speaker 1:But January we kick it off with the no little shift. So it'll be interesting to see what happens in the next 18 months. The Aquarius equinox enters early and strong this year on January 19th through February 18th. The cosmic party kicks off on January 19th with the sun slipping into Aquarius at 3 pm Eastern Time, joining powerhouse Pluto in early Aquarian airspace. Mercury joins the eclectic Aquarian alliance on January 27th, making way for the new moon on January 29th, which ushers in the lunar new year 2025. Things are about to get wild and wacky. So buckle up, and I'm just so happy to be talking about an Aquarian Alliance in 2025, as opposed to yesteryear when I talked about the Capricornian clusterfucks in my podcast of January 2020 and 2021, january, when we had a preponderance of Capricorn planets doing their karmic conundrums and karmic clusterfucking. So here we are Airy Aquarius, much lighter, but not everybody's cup of tea, so it'll be interesting to see what plays out. Mercury and Pluto are together in the early degrees of Aquarius at the new moon on January 29th, while the sun and moon are conjoined at 10 degrees.
Speaker 1:With all this potent Aquarius energy, we have the chance to make progressive changes in our lives. For some of us, circumstances are such that we need to pay more attention to certain matters. This new moon on January 29th in Aquarius harmonizes with Jupiter and Gemini, and we find ourselves in the right place at the right time. We're positive about our new beginnings at this new moon and Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, imminently, is preparing for direct movement forward. The Sabian symbol for the new moon at 10 degrees Aquarius is quote again from Dane Rudar, quoting a man who had for a time become the embodiment of a popular ideal is made to realize that as a person he is not.
Speaker 1:This ideal Keynote the need to deal with human beings as persons rather than as screens upon which one projects one's dream and ideal. This can mean a critical need for self-revaluation, can mean a critical need for self-re-evaluation. I think we can surmise who that might be referring to here in the United States. Will he screw up so soon, nine days after inauguration? I'm going to say the phrase again for this degree 10 degrees. Aquarius Again. Quote the man who had, for a time, become the embodiment of a popular ideal is made to realize that he's not this ideal. Well, we could have told you that. But the reevaluation is not only for the man himself, but for the collective consciousness which projected onto him light instead of seeing their, but for the collective consciousness which projected onto him light instead of seeing their own shadow or the collective shadow.
Speaker 1:Everyone needs to go through some revaluation in 2025. The answers aren't out there in another person who you think symbolizes something better than he is. We need to find all the positive qualities within us instead of looking outside of ourselves For a savior to rise from these streets, as Bruce Springsteen so eloquently sang. We're not looking for a savior to rise from these streets. We have to become the savior ourself. Well, thank you, sabian. Symbol for the new moon in Aquarius.
Speaker 1:And then we have the lunar new year of the snake slithering in on January 29th, opening the doors to death, rebirth, transformation and shedding the old skin. The year 2025 introduces a unique shift in energy and others born in the snake year. You're on alert. This is your coming home or homecoming time, and you are the year of the snake if you were born in 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013,. And, of course, the babies born after January 29th in 2025, all the year of the snake and so you're being advised to approach life events more cautiously this year, but we all need to stay more calm and collected, despite the changes occurring around us and in the world. Use this snake year to raise your kundalini, or a life force, as symbolized by the serpent or snake in Vedic physiology. Yes, the kundalini is a serpent moving up our spine, from the base of the spine all the way up through the crown of the head. So raise your vibration at the year of the snake, 2025.
Speaker 1:And then we are all launched into Aquarian airspace when Uranus blasts forward on January 30th, after being retrograde for five months. Uranus is the ruling planet of Aquarius and it decided to wait to celebrate Lunar New Year and go direct. Things accelerate when Uranus transits direct on January 30th and Taurus. Uranus is the planetary archetype of change and awakening. He's called the Great Awakening and is likened to lightning striking. You are changed forever. After that quick hit. The sleeping giant of collective revolutionary awareness has been simmering behind the scenes. Uranus's keynote is freedom. No one puts baby in a corner when Uranus is roused from his slumber.
