Adrienne Kambouris is an MD/PhD student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is a wife, a mother of three, and an veteran. Adrienne joined the Army at age 17 and served for 10 years. In 2016, she graduated from Augusta University with honors in Cell and Molecular Biology and Chemistry. She hopes to earn her PhD in Microbial Pathogenesis and practice surgery in the future, with a focus on burns, trauma, and wound healing.
