2.19. Pre-interview research: Sharing and Collecting the Biographical Questionnaire
Show Notes

It's the second season of the More and More Every Day Podcast. Join us every day for short (10 minute) episodes to talk all things oral history and challenge yourself with a daily oral history prompt.

Today's prompt: Identify which of these strategies you think will work best for you when it comes to pre-interview biographical research:

  1. Email the questions to your narrator;
  2. Schedule a pre-interview phone call;
  3. Do your own research

Select which ever strategy works best for you, and try it! Draft an email, schedule a phone call, or start doing research. If you’re not ready to do this with an actual narrator, use a friend or family member, or someone whose oral history is already published as a model.
