This recording originates from the Polinsys studios in Cambridge, OntarioThe Yukon Nominee Program expression of interest intake is openThe Government of Yukon is now accepting expressions of interest for the 2026 Yukon Nominee Program. The intake period for the expression of interest will close on January 30, 2026, at 4:30 pm Yukon Standard Time.Employers will provide information about the foreign national they are sponsoring through the online form. Submissions will receive points for meeting priorities. Employers who submitted an expression of interest in 2025 and were not invited to apply will also receive points. The highest scoring employers in each intake will be invited to submit an application to the program.Employers who submitted an expression of interest in 2025 will need to submit in this intake to be considered. Their application will not carry over.The Yukon Nominee Program priorities for 2026 are:Regulated health care professionals;Employers in rural Yukon; andForeign nationals who:have lived and worked in the Yukon for at least one year;are Yukon University graduates;are Francophone or French-speaking; orreceived a Temporary Measure Letter of Support in 2024 or 2025.Recipients of a temporary measure letter of support in 2024 or 2025 do not need to submit an expression of interest. These applicants will be contacted with next steps to complete their applications.NotesThe Yukon receives its allocations from the Government of Canada. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada provides the territory with an annual allocation, which determines how many applications it can approve each year.The Government of Yukon has received an allocation of 282 for the 2026 Yukon Nominee Program. These must be used by December 31, 2026.The next intake is July 6 to 17, 2026.
