Dr. Lara Salyer, DO, IFMCP is a small town family physician who "colors outside the lines of a typical doctor." She strategically resigned from her employed position in 2016 to open a holistic private practice in functional medicine.

Nicknamed by her colleagues as "The Netter of Functional Medicine," she uses her creativity to inspire health professionals to expand their impact. She designs medical infographics, produces online business courses, and offers private mentorship to help medical entrepreneurs grow and scale a holistic membership practice.

Driven by a passion to impart sustainable integrative health to the masses, she leverages technology to build a cohesive tribe of wellness in her local community through innovative group medical visits, online health education, as well as traditional individual services at DrLaraSalyer.com.

When she’s not involved in patient care, Dr. Lara has a global mission to eradicate burnout with an audacious goal: assign Creativity as the 6th Vital Sign. In her keynote speeches, she teaches how to optimize neurochemistry by tapping into creative flow daily.

She is the founder of the online “creativity incubator” and resource RightBrainRescue.com and the illustrator of the book written by her 9 year old son, “The Colorful Teeth." She authored her own memoir, Right Brain Rescue: One physician's journey from burnout to bliss reveals the creative muse in all of us, available in paperback, Kindle, and Audible.

She lives in Monroe, Wisconsin with her favorite physician husband of 22 years, their three children, a manic dog, and infinite piles of laundry.
