You decorate your home, but how do you decorate your life?
This week, we continue in our focus on life verses. First, we want to FIND a life verse (which is part one of this series); next, we want to think of ways to FRAME the Scripture in our lives. The Jewish people post mezuzahs on their door frames, as a way to decorate their homes with reminders of God's Word. We, too, can think of creative ways to frame God's Word in and around our own lives and homes.
This podcast episode goes along with the devotion and discipleship conversation "LIFE VERSE: Frame It!" based on Psalm 119:112 - “I incline my heart to perform your statues forever, to the end." One way we can worship God is to listen to His voice about His Word: “Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds…Write them on the doorframes of your houses…” (Deuteronomy 11:18a, 20a). We may not exactly write Bible verses on our door frames, but there sure are a lot of other places we can post verses!
Be encouraged to pursue your life verse and begin to decorate your life with it this week! What's more, talk to the next generation about this too!
