The Family Disciple Me Podcast // Discipleship Starts With a Conversation
A Memorial Day Message // For Such a Time as This
Show Notes

As we process the brokenness of our times, including yet another school shooting - this time in Texas - the question is, what does God want us to do about this? How would He have us respond to the suffering in this world? How can we make a difference in this world of such intense pain and terrible evil?

In this Memorial Day weekend podcast, Tosha Williams talks about her own processing of the recent joys and sorrows about many things, from recent terrible events in our country and world to things in her own life and family. Last week, so many families lost their precious children, while she got to celebrate the graduation of one of hers.  In the midst of the tragedies and triumphs, she asked God how He would have her respond and make a difference in this world. In decorating for her daughter's graduation party, she felt like God spoke into her life about her purpose, for such a time as this. Indeed, God has placed each of His followers here for such a time as this.

May you be encouraged and inspired as you process the highs and lows in your own life and world this Memorial Day. God bless!
