Ep.56 - Why is "Good Friday" Good? - Good Friday Discipleship Conversation #2
Show Notes

Why do we call Good Friday "Good Friday"? Each of the writers of the four Gospels would probably give very specific answer to that question, but in this podcast, we especially focus on what was happening in the disciple Peter's story as he tried to understand why Good Friday was good in his own life. The rooster's crow reverberated his entire life from the daybreak of Good Friday. How he reckoned with the brokenness of his story can impact our own.

So, as Good Friday approaches, we are doing a short two-part series focusing on two questions:

  • Why do "Good People" do Bad Things? - - - which is featured in podcast 55
  • Why is "Good Friday" Good? - - - which is the focus of this podcast episode

Scripture says "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

The accompanying discipleship conversation is "Why is 'Good Friday' Good?" Listen to this podcast then engage a meaningful discipleship discussion about it with those entrusted to you.
