Here's the thing: we get good at what we practice, and this is so for our kids, too. Practicing little lies leads to the ability to tell bigger lies, while practicing truth telling gives us the ability to not just tell but know the truth. This discipleship conversation is ever so important, spring boarding from Proverbs 12:22: “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.”
