Destinations Decisions: Passive or Prayerful? // A Call to "Pray 4"!!!
Show Notes

When you see needs in the world around you, how do YOU respond? As believers, we can be passive, do nothing and focus on our own lives. Or, we can be prayerful, which means we intentionally, regularly cry out to God on others' behalf. This is what the Apostle Paul asked Christians to do for him: “You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.” 2 Corinthians 1:11 ESV

As crises continue to unfold around the world, we can be active in praying for the needs. This podcast is a call to set your phone alarm for 4 p.m. and use that as a reminder to "Pray 4"

As mentioned in the podcast, some specific prayer requests posted in August 2021 by an Afghan pastor are: (these prayers could very well be prayed for many countries!)
- pray for national peace
- pray for the end of war in Afghanistan
- pray for the liberation of Afghanistan from the devil
- pray for the security and peace of all people in Afghanistan
- pray for women and girls who are in the hands of the Taliban as sex slaves
- pray for bereaved families
- pray for softening of the hearts of the Taliban
- pray for those who defend Afghanistan
- pray for the reconciliation of Afghanistan with Christ.

Also, a great call to action was published by Dr. Michael Brown in an article called "No Time for Passivity."
