Teachers Supporting Teachers Summer Series: Episode 1 - Self-care change and adaption
Welcome to this first Summer Series episode. We have a new logo and a new mini format to celebrate. So make a cup of tea, find a comfy spot to sit, and listen away. In this series I chat with Ruby and Ellen who graduated from their teaching degree at the end of 2020. We had a massive chat at the end of 2020 and have split this conversation across 6 mini episodes. Each episode focuses on a specific theme and links to insights, strategies and practices that can support your self-care. The aim is to support you to grow and expand your toolbox of wellbeing strategies to support your self-care as a future teacher and then as a teacher who moves into the profession.
In episode 1 we talk about finishing studies in a pandemic and we discuss the place of gratitude and appreciation, while also exploring the concept of ‘going with the flow’. Enjoy this episode.
