The effect of ADHD medication

In this episode of the Special Needs Supermom Podcast I talk about the effect of ADHD medication. Unfortunately there is still a lot of controversy about ADHD medication. Whether it is really necessary, that it will turn you into a zombie, that all you need to do is take away the distractions and make it interesting. I got my ADHD diagnose at age 45. As part of my diagnoses and therapy I tried out medication. This is my story of the mind-blowing effect it had on me. And no, not because I turned into a zombie. I hope it will take some of the fear away if your kid is really struggling and your kids’ specialist suggests trying out meds.
