Last week’s episode was all about allergies with a veterinary dermatologist and this week is a follow up to that where I sit down with my friend Kelsey of @littlepnepups to talk about her pretty overwhelming experience with her dog’s (Ava's) allergies.
In my chat with Kelsey we talk about when she first noticed Ava’s allergy symptoms, how she sought out veterinary help, and we end the episode talking about her learnings through it all.
As many of you know Lupin (my oldest dog) has some pretty intense allergies to both food products and environment so during this episode I add in some of my commiserations and learnings from my experience with Lupin as well.

What You Learn-

Skin problems can get very bad, very rapidly
Find a Vet that sees and hears you and your dog's needs.
Do your own research but also realize you aren't a DVM.
Check the ingredients on EVERYTHING
Give yourself grace and be patient while you're working hard to help your dog.
Allergies do not have a quick fix.
