In 1980, President Jimmy Carter decided that the United States would boycott the Moscow Olympic Games to protest the invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviet Union. Senior Associate Athletic Director, Ian Connole, talks with former US National Team and Olympic rowers Judy Geer '75, Bets Kent '77, and Kurt Somerville '79 whose season was cut short by the boycott.
