Trust Administration 101
So you've set up a trust, either specifically to protect assets from long-term care costs, to avoid probate, or for some other reason specific to your individual circumstances. Now what? How is it administered, both during your life and after you pass away? In this episode, a partial recording of a virtual seminar originally held live in January 2023, Attorney Julie Steinbacher goes over some considerations of why you might want to set up a trust based on how it works after it is set up, goes over some hypothetical scenarios on how it would work if you set up a trust and then need long-term care, discusses when might be an appropriate time to set up a trust, and then summarizes what to expect should you come into our firm for an initial consultation. She also answers a few more questions from the attendees of this seminar.
To schedule your initial consultation, visit ChatwithSGY.com, email info@paeldercounsel.com, or call 1-800-351-8334. The initial information gathering session is generally done by phone, and the initial consultation can be done either in-person, by phone or video conference.
