Post-Baccalaureate Premedical students at the University of Vermont have access to a Level 1 Trauma Center in the UVM Medical Center. Access to direct patient experience is why many students choose UVM's Post-Bacc Premed program.

Graduate of the PBPM Caroline Shrewsbury is working as a LNA while she applies to medical school. Her path to medicine landed her on the McClure 6 floor at the University of Vermont Medical Center, which is the floor accepting COVID-19 or Coronavirus patients. Caroline talks about caring for COVID-19 patients and how this experience has confirmed her passion for medicine.
