Episode 10: Is there life on Mars? The Perseverance Mars Rover and the future of Space Exploration
Show Notes

In this episode Aidan and James discuss the possibility of life in our Universe. With the successful launch and landing of the Perseverance Rover on the surface of Mars in February 2021 we thought it timely to discuss the what the mission's aim is and the possibility of finding the existence of Martians.
The future of space exploration is also discussed given that the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), which set to launch in October 2021, will enable us to look further in both space and time to study whether there are other planets in our Universe that could host humans or life of their own.

Our Giant of the Week is Katherine Johnson, the African-American mathematician that was largely responsible (along with many other Black, Female Mathematicians) for putting the first NASA astronaut into Space (Alan Shephard) and the Apollo 11 mission to land Humans on the Moon.
