In this episode Aidan is back and joined by Professor Alexander Hammers, Professor (Honorary Consultant) of Imaging and Neuroscience and Head of the King’s College London & Guy’s and St Thomas’ PET Centre at St Thomas’ Hospital. This episode was recorded at the New Scientist Live event: Future of Healthcare. 

In this episode Aidan and Alexander discuss how PET works, why it is such a valuable technique in the field of medicine, how Professor Hammers has utilised this imaging modality for his research into the neurological condition, epilepsy and what the future of PET based imaging looks like.
