In this week's episode, I discuss 5 things I learned from writing my second novel.
1) I have now developed a specific process for being a Pantser.
2) Writing is an enormous amount of work. You will end up deleting and cutting far more than you ever imagined.
3) You have to be proud of your work and take ownership of it. Do not wait for someone else to approve of your work.
4) Some aspects of writing get easier, and others do not. It's all about perspective.
5) You do not have to rush. Writing is the long game. Success will happen even if it takes a long time.
I created the Turn Write Podcast for beginning writers, indie authors, for people who are looking for their voice and who want to know how to use it. The idea for this bite-sized podcast came to me as I sat in endless traffic commuting an hour each way to and from my 9-5 job, wondering why do I write?
