What the Jeff Johnson Show “IS” and “IS NOT”:

IT IS NOT:

  • It’s not a news show, but we learn stuff.
  • It’s not a sports show, but Garinger beats Independence all the time and we love the game.
  • It’s not an “artsy” show, but local artists/performers are always in the house.
  • This is not a food show, but I love livermush!(‘Nuff Said”) So, we'll be talking about food a lot!

IT IS:

  • It is a Labour of Love for myself and my Hometown.
  • It is a show about you and me and finding out why the Charlotte/Metrolina region is a great place to be!
  • It is a show that I get to introduce you folks I grew up with who influenced me in my life. (I got some "Very Unique" friends y'all so this should be interesting!)
  • It is a show that I share some of the many talented friends I’ve met along the way.  (I got some "Very Unique" friends y'all so this should be interesting!)
  • It is a show that works your emotions. (“...Laughing and Crying, you know it’s the same release..”)

[00:00:00] JJ: [00:00:00] It's the Jeff Johnson show brought to you by O T E@ofthisearthglobal.com of this earth. global.com clothing connection, OTE

[00:00:21] hey everybody. It's your man, JJ here. Thank you guys for joining me on the show. I'm telling you it's the second week of February and things are. Going wild. It's crazy, but it's also good. Of course, all of the things that we know this going on in our nation's Capitol, they will take care of themselves. It is up to us to watch it is up to us to talk to our elected officials, to let them know how we feel, but we got to trust the process.

[00:00:54] America's the greatest country in the world. We have an incredible government. We have an incredible system [00:01:00] of government. It has to work itself out, but we cannot be people that are not involved in the process. And that starts at a local level folks. You know, the drill that starts in your hometown. In your County, in your state, letting people know, and being involved in the issues that come.

[00:01:27] So all that said in, in all of this, I hope you guys are going to keep an eye on that because that's one of the things that I think that you really have to look at this week also in terms of what I'm doing and will Jeff Johnson show, man, I'm telling you that things are starting to, to, to blossom, you know, spring is right around the corner.

It always makes me think about how [00:02:00] grateful I am and I hope you guys do the same. You know, everybody has their challenges. Nobody's perfect. You know, sometimes we look at the person down the street and go, man, I wish I had their life.

[00:02:13] And guess what they're looking right back at you going, I wish I had their life. There are a lot of people out there who don't have anywhere near that kind of life. And you know what I'm talking about? Hunger disease, drugs, poverty, it's up to us again, to be a major part of our world, our community. So with all of that said, this is going to be a short show.
