Mike Chen is the author of four books (more on the way) and several short stories and articles. He's also covered the NHL for ESPN. He joined me to talk about his newest novel, Light Years from Home, which is the story of a family's struggle after two members of the family are abducted by aliens.
I found the story to be very compelling. The dynamics were well laid out and convincing. I felt the angst, the worry, the pain felt by those left behind. And of course the sci-fi element was good as well.
