So through high"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":165.98,"endTime":168.95,"body":"school, I worked hard to, you"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":168.95,"endTime":171.77,"body":"know, get good math and science"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":168.95,"endTime":171.77,"body":"grades so that I could get into"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":171.77,"endTime":174.83,"body":"a good engineering school, but"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":171.77,"endTime":174.83,"body":"it was all so that I could get"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":174.83,"endTime":178.37,"body":"to the boats so I could get to"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":174.83,"endTime":178.37,"body":"the fleet. So but so really, it"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":178.37,"endTime":181.85,"body":"was my desire to get into the"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":178.37,"endTime":181.85,"body":"submarine force that kind of led"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":181.85,"endTime":183.41,"body":"me down a path of engineering."},{"speaker":"Aaron Moncur","startTime":183.95,"endTime":187.61,"body":"Yeah, so a means"},{"speaker":"Aaron Moncur","startTime":183.95,"endTime":187.61,"body":"to an end. And, you"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":197.54,"endTime":200.66,"body":"know, we I grew up in"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":200.66,"endTime":203.96,"body":"Manchester, New Hampshire. And,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":200.66,"endTime":203.96,"body":"you know, people didn't leave"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":203.96,"endTime":207.38,"body":"the city. You know, it was like"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":203.96,"endTime":207.38,"body":"you grew up here. You had your"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":207.38,"endTime":210.71,"body":"family here, you died there."},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":207.38,"endTime":210.71,"body":"That's what everybody did in"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":210.71,"endTime":213.56,"body":"Manchester. But my grandfather's"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":210.71,"endTime":213.56,"body":"went off and did this adventure"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":213.56,"endTime":216.53,"body":"in World War Two, and they tell"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":213.56,"endTime":216.53,"body":"their stories. And as a kid, I"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":216.53,"endTime":219.77,"body":"was like, fascinated by those"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":216.53,"endTime":219.77,"body":"stories. One of my grandfather's"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":219.77,"endTime":224.66,"body":"was in the Navy and what was in"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":219.77,"endTime":224.66,"body":"the army. But as I as I"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":224.66,"endTime":228.47,"body":"researched and read books about"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":224.66,"endTime":228.47,"body":"World War two submarines just"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":228.47,"endTime":232.07,"body":"sort of fascinated me, you know,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":228.47,"endTime":232.07,"body":"what they did, especially after"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":232.07,"endTime":234.38,"body":"what happened in Pearl Harbor,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":232.07,"endTime":234.38,"body":"and the Submarine Force sort of"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":234.38,"endTime":238.1,"body":"took over and basically held the"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":234.38,"endTime":238.1,"body":"line why we rebuilt our fleet"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":238.1,"endTime":242.06,"body":"and were able to, you know,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":238.1,"endTime":242.06,"body":"build up a, you know, a navy to"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":242.06,"endTime":246.38,"body":"go back and, and to go up"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":242.06,"endTime":246.38,"body":"against Japan. But the heroics"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":246.38,"endTime":251.33,"body":"of those World War Two submarine"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":246.38,"endTime":251.33,"body":"co captains, one of them was"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":251.33,"endTime":254.57,"body":"from from my home state that I"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":251.33,"endTime":254.57,"body":"was just fascinated by reading"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":254.57,"endTime":257.3,"body":"about him. And I said, you know,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":254.57,"endTime":257.3,"body":"I want to do that I want to do"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":257.3,"endTime":259.79,"body":"on some adventure I want to do"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":257.3,"endTime":259.79,"body":"so I want to get out of this."},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":259.82,"endTime":263.57,"body":"This the city where everybody"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":259.82,"endTime":263.57,"body":"born is, you know, is, you know,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":263.57,"endTime":266.06,"body":"you're born, you raise your"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":263.57,"endTime":266.06,"body":"family and you die here, I want"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":266.06,"endTime":267.8,"body":"to do something different. But"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":277.7,"endTime":281.6,"body":"usually those dreams sort of"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":281.6,"endTime":284.42,"body":"fade away. Mine never did. That"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":281.6,"endTime":284.42,"body":"was something I had a passion"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":284.42,"endTime":287.24,"body":"for. But so we we had a lot"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":371.48,"endTime":374.33,"body":"of variability are products,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":371.48,"endTime":374.33,"body":"they were engineered to order"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":374.33,"endTime":378.86,"body":"products. And so inevitably,"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":374.33,"endTime":378.86,"body":"when you have very variability"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":378.86,"endTime":381.86,"body":"in your product, you have"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":378.86,"endTime":381.86,"body":"problems when he gets out of the"},{"speaker":"Jon Rennie","startTime":381.86,"endTime":387.26,"body":"field.
