It is a very different"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":262.17,"endTime":266.76,"body":"crap. I was ill prepared for"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":262.17,"endTime":266.76,"body":"that. And but I did get involved"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":266.76,"endTime":269.88,"body":"with the robotics team at the"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":266.76,"endTime":269.88,"body":"University when I was there. And so yes,"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":319.02,"endTime":324.63,"body":"I would say I am in fact, an r\u0026d"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":324.63,"endTime":329.7,"body":"engineer. The r\u0026d, to me"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":324.63,"endTime":329.7,"body":"requires embracing ambiguity."},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":330.36,"endTime":335.88,"body":"And understanding that failure"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":330.36,"endTime":335.88,"body":"is a part of the process. There's a quote, I think"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":345.15,"endTime":347.7,"body":"that's attributed to Einstein,"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":345.15,"endTime":347.7,"body":"that's probably not actually"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":347.7,"endTime":350.04,"body":"his, you know, you can believe"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":347.7,"endTime":350.04,"body":"everything you read on the"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":350.04,"endTime":353.85,"body":"internet, Abraham Lincoln kind"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":350.04,"endTime":353.85,"body":"of a thing that goes, if we knew"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":353.85,"endTime":356.04,"body":"what it was we were doing, it"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":353.85,"endTime":356.04,"body":"wouldn't be called research,"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":356.04,"endTime":360.39,"body":"would it? And maybe Einstein"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":356.04,"endTime":360.39,"body":"said that once maybe somebody"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":360.39,"endTime":362.34,"body":"else said, that sounds like"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":360.39,"endTime":362.34,"body":"something he would have said,"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":362.37,"endTime":367.17,"body":"but it's definitely true. And so r\u0026d is"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":372.42,"endTime":375.42,"body":"embracing that we don't know"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":372.42,"endTime":375.42,"body":"what we're doing. We have an"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":375.42,"endTime":377.58,"body":"idea of where we are, and we"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":375.42,"endTime":377.58,"body":"have an idea of where we want to"},{"speaker":"James Rogers","startTime":377.58,"endTime":383.67,"body":"be.
