A lot of astronauts"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":283.42,"endTime":287.98,"body":"were test pilots, first things"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":283.42,"endTime":287.98,"body":"like that. So here's what I want"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":287.98,"endTime":290.26,"body":"to do. That's landing a plane"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":296.74,"endTime":301.92,"body":"on an aircraft carrier would be,"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":296.74,"endTime":301.92,"body":"would be really cool. So I followed,"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":315.6,"endTime":319.2,"body":"followed the path, and I was one"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":315.6,"endTime":319.2,"body":"of the people that the Navy"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":319.86,"endTime":323.12,"body":"introduced as a candidate, an"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":319.86,"endTime":323.12,"body":"astronaut candidate, to NASA,"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":323.36,"endTime":325.94,"body":"because I had to apply to the"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":323.36,"endTime":325.94,"body":"astronaut program through the"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":325.94,"endTime":328.94,"body":"Navy. And then when I was"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":325.94,"endTime":328.94,"body":"evaluated by NASA, I got"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":328.94,"endTime":332.66,"body":"disqualified for a medical"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":328.94,"endTime":332.66,"body":"reason. So I got as close as I"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":332.66,"endTime":336.02,"body":"possibly could from starting"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":332.66,"endTime":336.02,"body":"with that dream for literally,"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":336.02,"endTime":342.1,"body":"from starting watching science"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":336.02,"endTime":342.1,"body":"fiction to making it to to that"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":342.1,"endTime":345.7,"body":"point, and I still, I have"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":342.1,"endTime":345.7,"body":"friends that are in the"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":345.7,"endTime":349.6,"body":"astronaut program. In fact, the"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":345.7,"endTime":349.6,"body":"local news, the astronauts that"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":349.66,"endTime":352.9,"body":"just came back from the space"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":349.66,"endTime":352.9,"body":"station that was stuck there for"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":352.9,"endTime":356.08,"body":"a few days, we were all in test"},{"speaker":"Ron Higgs","startTime":352.9,"endTime":356.08,"body":"pilot school together.
