Girl Listen with Candice Simmons
Welcome to Girl Listen, the podcast where real women have real conversations. Hosted by the one and only Candice Simmons, a powerhouse who's been in the game for over 20 years, working with Fortune 500 companies and lifting up women to win—both in the boardroom and in life. Candice knows what it's like to juggle it all, and she's here to help YOU do the same, but with a little more grace and a whole lotta truth.
In this season, Candice is getting even more personal. She's not just dropping knowledge—she’s reflecting on her own journey, sharing the lessons learned, the highs, the lows, and the moments in between. She’s here to be transparent about the story that’s still unfolding, showing you that even when you’ve got the experience, the hustle, and the success, you’re still writing your own narrative.
This podcast isn’t just about success; it’s about survival, authenticity, and making it through this crazy thing called life while leaving your mark. Every episode, Candice is keeping it 100—no sugarcoating, no playing small. Girl Listen is a space for you to stop pretending, face the tough stuff, and get real about what’s next. It’s time to take a hard look in the mirror and ask the questions you’ve been avoiding. And guess what? She’s got the answers, the laughs, and the sisterhood to help you through it all.
So if you’re ready to level up, laugh a little, and get the real tea on how to live, work, and thrive, Girl Listen is the space for you. It's not just a podcast—it's a sisterhood. You in? Let’s go.

20/20 Vision
Sis… this one hit close to home.
In this episode, I’m sharing a moment that checked me deep—in a paint studio with my daughter, where a simple “mommy and me” date turned into a Holy Spirit lesson on vision, fear, and faith. I realized I was doing what so many of us do: projecting doubt where I should’ve been protecting purpose.
We’re diving into why everybody can’t—and shouldn’t—carry your vision. I talk about the dangers of sharing too soon, seeking approval God never required, and why some visions need incubation, not interrogation.
This isn’t about judgment—it’s about wisdom. I had to learn (and relearn) that when God gives you the assignment, you don’t need to shop it around for validation. You just need to steward it with obedience, trust, and sometimes… a whole lot of quiet.
This one’s for every woman building something that doesn’t make sense to the crowd—but is completely clear to her spirit.
