Season 1
John Kørner is an internationally renowned visual artist, primarily working with painting, installation, ceramics and glass. Noted for his distinct use of colour and unique depiction of characters, his work often deals with contemporary issues that invite the viewer to reflect on political, social and existential questions. In 2000, just two years after graduating from the Royal Danish Art academy, John received the prestigious Carnegie Art Award and his work has subsequently been acquired by ARoS Museum of Modern Art, Moderna Museet, Stockholm and the Tate, London; among others.
