José González is a Swedish singer-songwriter who rose to international prominence in 2003 with his debut album Veneer. Known traditionally for his stripped down blend of classical and folk guitar with poetic lyrics and distinctive melodies - he’s also no stranger to collaboration, be it with his band Junip, orchestral arrangements or soundtrack collaborations such as Ben Stiller’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. José is also currently gracing the screens of cinemas worldwide as the subject of Mikel Cee Karlsson’s latest documentary ‘A Tiger In Paradise’.
