I ran out of insulin in the jungle (T1D Nightmare)
Apr 30, 2024 Season 6 Episode 70
FTF Warrior

Forced experimentation: I took a new insulin that I’d never had before out of desperation…

If diabetes has taught me one thing, it’s the skill of adaptation (and “rolling with it”).

I didn’t plan on running out of insulin, definitely not taking a mystery insulin in the middle of the jungle, and certainly not the bonus lesson that a stumbled across with a blood sugar at 250 haha.

It was a rough day filled with opportunity to learn from mistakes, and I hope that today’s episode allows you to learn from mine (so that you don’t have to make the same mistakes).
