We have received forgiveness from God; but it may not stop there. Like water in a pipe, forgiveness must flow through us to others. It is not a law that we must forgive in order to be forgiven, but IF we are forgiven, we will extend that forgiveness to others. Matthew 18 gives a picture of how this might work in the Christian community.
