Luna Blossom, Recreational Clubfoot Runner Turned Sub 3 Hour Marathon Runner Joins Host of the Show & His First Running Coach, Coach Alli to Chat All Things Training As An Endurance Elite Runner with clubfoot.
Luna dives into what Training consists of, from finding the proper shoes for his foot while building on his aerobic capacity and endurance to break a virtual Sub 3 Hour Marathon. He is well underway to crush another Marathon even faster.
Luna is currently living in Washington and left NYC during the global pandemic with his family. He started his running journey aimlessly, running around NYC while he was here, building his fitness, which all began with speedwalking. Luna began speed walking to work and back, which turned into jogging to and from work and all over NYC! At first, he had a weekly volume of miles in mind, but not a structured program to get him started on his competitive running journey until I came into the picture to help him jump-start his competitive running!
It was a pleasure speaking with this individual and fellow runner about running and many other things that aren't directed solely by just running! This particular sport brings commonalities out in people, running aside. And I love it!
