RUNWITHALLI LIVE
EPISODE 131: Abby Olcott, registered dietitian and board-certified sports dietetics specialist, joins me to discuss endurance performance, eating disorders, her approach to nutrition, and so much more
Abby Olcott, MS, RD, CSSD, LDN is a registered dietitian and board-certified specialist in sports dietetics based in the Midwest. A former collegiate sprinter turned recreational runner, Abby specializes in helping athletes and people with eating disorders. Abby’s approach to nutrition is values- and client-centered, and she is guided by Health at Every Size principles. She is passionate about helping athletes achieve their nutrition and performance goals without the toxicity of diet culture. I really enjoyed my discussion with Abby, and I always love to learn the perspectives of different specialists working with runners and endurance athletes and how they handle certain situations because everyone has everything to gain from each other, and together, we're a POWERHOUSE. If you don't have an RD and are in the Midwest, Abby is your GIRL.
You can find Abby on her website, www.midwestperformancenutrition.com, or on her Instagram page @energysportsdietitian.
